The
Captain Vic, operated by Republic barge company is named after the late
Captain Victor Sewer, a well-respected, prominent St. Johnian, renowned
as a man of the sea. The CEO of Republic is his grandson, Lewelen
"Little Lew" Sewer.

Virgin Islands Port Authority
announces that effective May 8, 2006:
All vehicles crossing the marine terminal at
Red Hook shall pay to the Port Authority prior to boarding a
barge/vessel to St. John the following fee based on a round trip:
